“Everyone seems to think that life as a tree is peaceful – and it is, but not to the extent that you suspect. It’s great until it starts pouring, and the wind dismembers me. It's dandy until I hyperfixate on the worms and grubs wiggling around in between my roots. It’s okay though, I really do love it here. I watch so many young people fall in love, dance, laugh, and meet one another everyday. Not many trees get to experience that, so I am grateful.
Side note, I’d appreciate it if some of yall could scratch my bark every once in a while. I get Itchy.”
