Made for Haute Glue’s 2026 exibition, Lost and Found is an homage to the small tools and accessories required to construct garments. Embodying the craft-based methods that Haute Glue celebrates, Lost and Found highlights the immense time and labor costs involved in constructing handmade clothing. Much of this labor unfolds, at least when booth creates, through the repetitive cycle of losing and rediscovering essential tools: zippers, scissors, tape measures, needles, and pins, thread and more.

By anthropomorphizing these often overlooked objects, Lost and Found assigns them new meaning, honoring them as works of art in their own right. Lost and found finally prevents those pesky tools from escaping -- by making the wearer become them.

P.S. Please watch out for sewing pins when visiting Booth’s studio.
