This sculptural exchange takes cherished object, and gives it back “better”.
Centered around a rosary that was given to the participant by their grandmother, this sculpture serves as a unconventional shrine for the necklace. This work does not outshine the rosary, but instead honors the materiality of the object by becoming its extension.
This sculpture as well as the rosary were returned to the participant – free of charge (a thank you for their trust and participation).
